A lot of soul-searching and fraught teenage angst doesn't usually make a satisfying movie, but the engaging performances of Emilio Estevez, Judd Nelson and Molly Ringwald, plus the inclusion of Simple Minds' theme tune Don't You (Forget About Me), make this worth watching.
